Yorkstone

This a beautiful hardwearing stone that is generally used throughout London and in many period buildings within the UK.

We take great pride in our Yorkstone as being one of the most unblemished of our stone with a nice light buff colour with almost no variations and non slip properties.

Being one of many different sandstone available it is well-known to be one of the most often used as outdoor paving due to its non slip, hardwearing qualities. It has nice light grey colour with some veins and when wet gets a slight hint of blue.

Whitworth Yorkstone

Portland Stone

Sourced from England's Jurassic coast and composed of microscopic fossils, this stone is used in many of London's iconic buildings, such as the national gallery ,St Martins in the fields and St Paul Cathedral. Portland stone is a cream coloured lime stone and is hardwearing and non slip.
